I know it's early to say, but does the fabric have any stretch?

I don't think my Swedish serge stretched. I sized up once to a 34 (like you Ane I'm a 33) and they continue to fit perfectly to this day. It's a wonderful fabric, softens up very nicely.

Thanks MCL, they are high on my list but I have to think about the front rise since it's a little on the low side.

Although they look pretty unflattering on me they are very comfortable. I see no reason why you couldn't hike in them but as Dylan said there are probably better options.

We are not shipping anything until the New Year.  We do not have time to get anything meaningful done today and there are no pick ups tomorrow.  Plus we always find that in a sale, after the initial frenzy, many customers come back for more.  A bit like vultures circling carrion…..
