I got my older brother, who lives in LA, a pair of the Triple Works Beatle Busters in the sale. He's been wearing them for the last few days.
Since then he's been told he's a rockstar, and he described them as being badass and the best pair of jeans he's ever had. Oh, and he's been hanging out with a girl whose last two boyfriends were A-listers, you've probably seen their names at the top of movie posters! :o
He's now a convert to Japanese denim, and was making noises about needing more pairs. Shame he's completely broke.
If he ever makes any money then I think that @Giles has another addict in his customer base…

today my girlfriend of 6 years and I told her parents that we are planning on moving in together within the next few days. They were very supportive and this thrilled us immensely. hooray for not being shot and instead given the familial blessing to take this next step!

More good stuff in Belgium… Had to work til 1 today... Was able to quit at 10... Now off to the fleemarket with my brother... Next week I'm doing the hours I skipped today, but I'm glad to do so cause I'll be working with my kickass collegue who's back from Turkey after a 4 week holiday... I missed her tremendously!..
In case you're wondering: yes, it is this piglet (w/ IHSH-16)!..

Having a beer to celebrate a new job…
After a few month's of running around trying to get myself into the Michigan beer industry I've landed a position, and with one of my favorite breweries no less. I'm starting to my journey into beer in earnest at Short's Brewing Company in two weeks and I couldn't be happier.
The beer is the Spruce Pilsner by Short's (of course). It's brewed using a bunch of blue spruce tips picked in Northern Michigan and is pretty darn tasty if I do say so myself…
