Has anyone got experience of wearing these in a warmer climate?

My brother's interested, but he lives in LA and thinks that they'd lead to spontaneous human combustion.

            Thanks.

Given that it's north of 100 degrees in Hell-A right now, I think that my brother's assessment is right. 😃

So I've grabbed him a pair of the 15 oz Triple Works Beatle Busters instead, which are probably more climate friendly.

So, I confess: I grabbed these  too, for the incoming cold winter.
Or maybe for this summer, who cares.

                  @JoshJames : 90-95F? Here we have only 88! 22oz + paraffin are required!

I find my 18oz to be the worst. I'm not sure If It's cause there're new and still bulletproof or what.
My 25oz is a looser fit for me and has had several washes and they seem to be the easiest to wear.

It's all about the weave, my experience of IH denims in hot weather ranks them as follows, from coolest to hottest…

                          21oz
                          25oz
                          18oz
                          23oz

Nothing to do with weight, the 23oz was like being wrapped in tight thinsulate. Great for winter though.

G & H did it again! Here's a pair of jeans really heavy and hard as iron.
Despite this, they are much more comfortable than I thought…* so, if you are undecided, please do not hesitate as long as they cost $ 250!

                              Size up 1 or even 2. I'm a 28-29 in 634s and I did 30 with 2634.

                              Thank you G, P & W for the chain-stitching, superior as usual.

                              • ... Unless you decide to take them off!
Given the characteristics of this fabric, I suggest, before you wear your pair of 2634, to practice buttoning and unbuttoning them several time, in order to subdue the slots at your will.

Whoah! I sized up from 33-34 but I can get the top button. It sure wasn't fun the first time though.

Sized up to a 33 due to the fact these don't stretch near as well as denim.  Took half a day of wearing unbuttoned. I pulled them about an inch.  Still using a leather string to tie them close.  Buttoning right now is too painful.
