I really want to get a pair of the deep indigo PBJs but I'm not sure what cut. I've got bigger thighs so I want something with a slight taper towards the hem, but nothing skinny. And then once I decide I've got to track them down somewhere!

If you ever find something, I'd love to hear about it.  I've wanted a pair for years and the skinny thighs have always frightened me off.  Around a 33" waist and 12.5"-13" thighs (post-shrink) would be ideal, but I've yet to see anything that would work.

I think the closest thing I've found so far is the XX-009 really. BiG is sold out of the size I'm looking for, maybe I can track it down somewhere on Rakuten but who knows.

Paid Danny a visit at the new Rivet & Hide store on Friday and couldn't resist a pair of the deep indigo X012 slim tapered.  Wanted something smarter in the short/medium term, but that will still evolve nicely in the long term.  It was these or the 3sixteen shadow selvedge, but the PBJ denim wins hands down for character (and killer slub).

Pretty snug over my cyclist's thighs, but pretty damn pleased with the fit (not dissimilar to the 555 cut, imo).

did exactly the same when visiting danny last time.
mine are quite tight for my fat legs too, but there is hope that they will stretch.
they already started to fade and i have the feeling that these will turn out quite nice.

For the PBJ X020 I like the fit of these a lot will get a lot of wear :).

Timely point to show you these X011 Jeans. Neil, friend of Junior's, hadn't a clue about raw, never mind  Japanese, small batch, selvedge denim 12 months ago. He bought these from us to show support for our venture at the newly opened workshop in Fulham. He still doesn't really get it. If you mention shuttle looms configured for maximum slub he glazes over and suggests a visit to the pub. He likes having a pair of good jeans to wear but that's about it. They are about to be appropriated for our store. Then washed.Then displayed.
