Giles's Swim for Charity

Gave in to the inevitable yesterday and went to a sports physio.  She seems to have me on the path to recovery.  I'm debating whether to celebrate with a 3 miler this morning…..

I debated and decided not to risk it.  I have a physio session tomorrow and on Sunday, the first group swim with most/all of the other swimmers…..

Today is the first official training swim.  I have no idea what it involves, other than  BBQ on the beach.  I have to admit that I am feeling a little apprehensive, there will be 17 other swimmers and I guess there will be some sort of "can the silly fecker swim in a straight line" assessment going on…....I can give them the answer to that without getting wet.....

Very enjoyable, thanks.  A cloudy morning became warm and sunny and it was fun to meet the other swimmers and their families:  one of the swimmer's husbands is an Iron Heart customer!  Small world

So Paula got chatting to him, told him we were having a sale and he bought 2 pairs of IH-816 overnight.  Result.
