Thanks guys…
And MCL... I wanted to explode over hearing this info at first but honestly the damage is done. Truthfully, I'm not sure it would have even made much of a difference given how run down she is from the emphysema if we would have caught it earlier.
With respect to malpractice, it's a tough thing to press when cancer is involved and many states take into account the type of cancer as well as the rate of mortality before they will even consider prosecuting MP claims in either court. It's one of things were the damage is done, I talked to her several times about getting a second opinion but this has been her doctor since longer than I've been on the planet and there's no talking her into seeking an outside opinion.

Citibank's online banking has a maximum length of 9 characters for passwords.
This basically guarantees a crackable password and literally should be against the law. Pass phrases are the best way to make a credential difficult to guess mathematically. This is a fucking bank.

In short: my company is firing nearly 450 people in Wallonia. I doubt this will be the end of it, as well. I was the last one to be given a fixed contract (for life), but still… Shit news.

Just got off the phone with the IRS for the second time in two weeks. I need transcripts of my returns for three consecutive years in order to be able to sponsor my fiancee for a visa so that we can get the heck out of Mexico. The dumbkopfs cannot provide any explanation for why their download-a-transcript function will not work for me. A customer service rep on 6/27 did something he wasn't allowed to do and mailed my returns to my attorney's office in the US–but the dumbass mailed them to the wrong address. So, all of my incredibly sensitive data is now loose in the wide world. On top of that, they aren't willing to mail them again to the correct address. They will fax them to me in Mexico, but I have to be on the phone with them when they send the fax, and since I can only call them via skype and only have access to a fax at like, officemax, I'm not doing that shit. They could mail them to my permanent address in NC, which is my parents' address, but the problem with that is my parents aren't living in their house this summer. They're traveling. Or, I can pay my attorney to draw up a power-of-attorney (over MY finances!) so that he can receive them. Obviously not doing that, either. The customer service rep "couldn't" connect me to a supervisor, so now I'm awaiting a call back within 48 hours on my Mexican cell phone, which I'm willing to bet they may not make. Looks like I'll be calling them back on Monday!
