Here’s a fascinating article about traditional root beer (including an amazing recipe!):

Just bought a nice bottle of Jacob's Creek Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut Cuvée. Starters with fresh cheese burger, salad, some taboulé… Then Chili Con Quorne (yes us veggies do get silly now and then) with a wicked good red Italian Primitivo Salento... Then to cool the tastebuds off, some good white Fontareche... Then a Mikkeller Beer Geek Vanilla Shake...

I foresee a slight headache tomorrow...

They're not the kind of cheeseburger you'd expect. I'll snap a pic later on 🙂 It looks like this. We don't put it between a bun, just with some veggies on the side and some slices of bread.

Belgian food, second only to British in the WTF?!?? Stakes of European food.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

I'd say the Dutch are in that race but I think calling their fare "food" is charitable at best.

Hey, we Brits know our culinary skills are limited. That's why there are so many Chinese, Italian, Indian etc restaurants around. But seriously, what Seul showed I wouldn't put in someone else's mouth.

                          Here's a classic British recipe:

                          1: go to market
2: buy can of Heinz beans
                          3: heat beans
4: place slice of bread in toaster
                          5: dump beans on toast
                          6: pretend this is edible

                          Think it, be it.

Beans on toast is more than edible. I had it with scrambled eggs last night.

This is the best label I've seen in such a long time. Semi-vegetarianism? ? ?
