Great day today, caught my first barbel (4lb), along with 2 others, a brown trout and 3 roach, all in the space of three hours.

IH-634S serving me well.

cheers G, I'm chuffed to bits, even though its a small one.

8lb line, 18" 6lb hooklink, size 18 kamasan hook, one large fake red maggot.

Red & white maggots in a feeder going into a weirpool every 2 minutes for 1/2 an hour, with no hooklength.

Small roach came first, then a brown trout, then a barbel of 6"…. then a heartstopping 5 minute fight!

Relay Race today and tomorrow. About 200 miles split between 12 runners.

Not our can, but a classic nonetheless. Team name was Kill Hill

Exchanging runners. We each run 3 legs.

I'm runner 11. 7.4 miles up to a local resort. Tough tough tough.

Time to chill out while the other 6 runners are out. We start again in 4 hrs or so.
