At High Point State Park NJ.

A long way up the stairs inside the monument on the highest point in NJ.

We made it to the top.

Then on to the Wow Cow for ice cream

The best ice cream around.

That staircase looks endless! How far was it? Icecream is the least you could treat yourself to after a walk that large.

Snowy the monument is 220 feet high or 22 stories.
A good workout going up the stairs.

Great day today, caught my first barbel (4lb), along with 2 others, a brown trout and 3 roach, all in the space of three hours.

IH-634S serving me well.

cheers G, I'm chuffed to bits, even though its a small one.

8lb line, 18" 6lb hooklink, size 18 kamasan hook, one large fake red maggot.

Red & white maggots in a feeder going into a weirpool every 2 minutes for 1/2 an hour, with no hooklength.

Small roach came first, then a brown trout, then a barbel of 6"…. then a heartstopping 5 minute fight!
