What's your favorite Beer?
-
I made my first RateBeer review. Am I now officially a beernerd?..
Vintage 2009. Bottle from Geers. Dark, almost black, with a beautiful red shine to it when held in the light. Quickly disappearing tan head. I had the Reserva the day after this, and I must say the second aging on calvados barrels does wonders for this Grand Reserva: the acidity of the French oak is much more balanced and less prominent on the tongue. Velvet like smoothness, I only had a real hint of booze (calvados) on the last sip. Hiding its alohol % very well. My favourite Belgian beer?.. My favourite Belgian beer.

That was completely co-incidental. As far as I'm concerned there should only be one button on a cammy and it should read "PUSH FOR WITCHCRAFT"…
Haha, perhaps it was the power of the black hole. Either way that photo (and perhaps the others of the stocked fridge) convinced me that brews are in order later this evening

Toasting the Belginians, this is ridiculously sour.
