I'd be more worried about diabetes than my liver at this point Gav
Congrats JD and wife!

Alcohol, the occasional pack of smokes and junk food is my only vice

At this point I can't imagine the beers I'm drinking being bad… No way is something that tastes so good, bad for you...

My method is to spread my vices out as equal as possible. No organ failure left behind

Thanks @mclaincausey and @Cutlasshound . Getting a great opportunity to provide on a high level is what I wanted, it's on me to kill it from here.

Thanks bros. We both had a meeting with them this morning. I start through the process of state licensing and certification this week, the misses has a staggered start a few weeks later so she can further explore options as she has a couple of secondary interviews scheduled. In any case, this is a huge shift for us that we''re both excited about.

Interesting article although depressing. Nothing new to most here on the forum. Pretty much nailed it in one statement.
"The majority of consumers think of fast fashion, discount retailers, dollar stores and coupons when it comes to purchasing clothing. Country of origin is simply not top of mind."

I reject the notion that its impossible for the US to do two things at once; to me its a false dichotomy to suggest that pursuing a domestic textile industry comes at the expense of bringing home other industry.

^ Amen
Also wages don’t determine if manufacturing is domestic or not … Taxes (like VAT), tariffs, and trade policies do and can! There is nothing inherently wrong with exchanging goods with other countries. For example: If we buy from Japan we might see our money again, but let’s face it people in Bangladesh and Vietnam won’t be buying from America.
