I hesitated to cop the Boondockers because of the leather sole too (ls can get really slippy on HK pavement, even when dry) but it works well and I love my boots.

Yeah, er… Let's keep this between us guys!

Looks like the DArtisan nep jeans to me… My wife would slaughter me if I put dirty boots on the bed!

Thanks pillow pants. Spot on Sugar Mountain, Studio D'Artisan xs-33 (christmas 33 edition).

I'm wearing those socks today with my cheap-ass Sperry Top-Siders

Ok, I asked this before, but would be thankful for some experience. I love the feel of the Viberg laces, super soft and "moist", not as cracking dry as other leather laces I encountered so far. But I am kind of scared to pull them real tight, as I ripped Red Wing laces on the second wear. What's your experience - can I pull with strength without worrying?
-
i wear my IHVB-04-b-o-t since december nearly every second day.
the leather laces have never been any issue and i pull them quite tight.
they perform and look much better than normal laces, imo (until they break).

Perfect answers. Thanks

love my 66hiker.
  @Max Power,
 what's the issue with yours?
-
I believe max has the same issue I do they are small. They are fine when wearing during the day but, too small for hiking. I am taking mine to a cobbler tomorrow to get stretched.
-
Did you try my shoe tree suggestion? This is a very short last vertically for whatever reason. I shoved a Nordstrom cedar shoe tree in my left one for about a week and it sorted it out for me.
-
I have shoe trees in them, doesn't fix the issue. It's going to the cobbler today to be stretched
-
Yes, just like Jeff said. My hikers fit fine within the first hour but when the feet are swollen they rub a bit at the toes. I don't get Blisters but they feel tight. A Cobbler tries to fix that right now.
