Wesco - Production and sneak peeks

is wesco able to produce a bit more of a  "light weight" kinda boot/shoe?…each pair seems kinda bulky and all that!

We're initially going for more of a Japanese aesthetic.  We have plenty of ideas and yes, we will definitely be doing more lightweight models.  But don't forget, you can custom make any build you want through us.

Ive seen lots of beautiful broken in wescos (beautiful; may differ )on Japanese sites which I don't see on any other brands. I was sceptical with the rough out shaft on any engineer but seeing pics of one online, changed that.

I hope I'm not posting in the wrong thread - does Wesco offer a boot similar to the Viberg 1950 Service boot? Especially regarding the toecap and the height. I love bulky toecaps and dislike the "flat" looking ones on the Wescos. But I love all the rest.

I noticed the engineers weren't using those buckles you spec'ed out of Japan, but also weren't using the standard Wesco non-roller buckles (they look like the same ones Muskhaven used in their custom build)–were the custom ones a one-time thing for the Wild Ones?

They should be using some Japanese buckles I supplied, but they may have overlooked it as they are in such a rush to make all the samples I need to Berlin.
Going forward, I have just ordered 2,000 buckles to be sand cast to my specs by @Kurt-faith.  I showed him my Japanese buckles when we were in Tokyo and he said he could do better…...

No it has a toe box, but we can make without…..

Some good looking make-ups! Having recently placed an order with Wesco for a pair of custom engineer boots that I'll be picking up in September. The engineer boot shown here would offer a great contrast to what I already have coming in. What toe are you using on that build? MP perhaps.

Wesco themselves posted a similar build on their Instagram page not long ago.

Our boot is similar, but 9" with a single calf buckle and an MP toe.  All WescoxIron Heart boots will have a leather insol with Iron Heart logo embossed on the heel seat…
