WOW.  Start of D Day celebrations here (much of the D Day preparations were performed in Gosport).  We have just had a bunch (big bunch) of Spitfires and Hurricanes fly over the office - at no more than 200' up - skin tingling stuff….

That would give me goosebumps. I've always been inspired by the heroic efforts of the RAF in WW2.

That's awesome G. I met a gentleman when I was over there who flew Hurricanes in the Battle of Britain, he was 103 years old, and I felt pretty fortunate to have the opportunity to speak to such a man. Living history.

Yeah, I just found out that the planes were on their way to France to reenact some of the start of D Day…..

That is actually what really makes this story.  The Star is easily the scummiest pub on the high street, it's where you go to have a pint with breakfast - I kid you not, they start queuing for beer at 08:30….
