I always hear USPS horror stories, but aside from packages delayed a few days never had a issue. UPS on the other hand has not been as pleasant. 3 guitar necks in a row lost, a guitar body so badly mangled the recipient swore they ran it over with a truck, packages from across state that took 3 weeks to arrive, and to ship anywhere from my burb costs a mortgage payment and a promissory note for your first born child's soul.

^^That's particularly bad - even I usually get my amazon packages. How you got anyone there to acknowledge your exist will amaze me until the day I die!
I knew this one would be a problem so I made sure it wasn't signature required. Lucky for me I had such a diligent delivery person today who decided not to bother delivering the package on their own!
I do love how the USPS phone # goes right to Indian…
^I think they get off on tossing packages around as violently as possible.

Just found out my aunt died last night. I am ranting because numerous times in the last month she had went to the doctor and hospital complaining of pain in her side. Her final visit YESTERDAY, the doctor told her he thought her issue was psychological. She went to the hospital, the same. She called 911 when the pain became overly intense late last night, and was gone by the time paramedics arrived. Just angry…

Sorry for your loss jdl, may I ask if the cause has been identified? Something similar occurred with my Aunts husband a couple of years ago and no cause was ever found.

Sorry your Auntie has moved on jdl. The story has f^cked up written all over it. Natural causes is such a broad term I wouldn't accept it either & salute your uncle for fighting for her even after she's gone. On the brighter side, at least she's not in anymore pain & regardless of what you believe in she doesn't have to deal with the B$ we put up with everyday.

RAnt… Kind of....maybe, not to sure where to put this.
Today, I'm visiting university of Missouri campus for transfer orientation...by far this is the biggest campus I have been on.. And things seem to be a bit of a clusterfeck. I opted for the first of four different dates to select from... The school is very nice physically though and the people also seem friendly. I'll be doing a one hour commute to and one hour from school daily which sll in all isn't too bad when I consider my old commute when living in Overland Park and working inKC...I must admit though, as a fairly antisocial person ima bit intimidated. Feels a bit like the first day of kindergarten all over again..

We have a relief UPS driver on the round today. The fucker has not turned up. It is 18:45 so I guess he won't. I have called support to ask what is going on, they said they would call me back - guess what? They have not. I am so pissed off, Matt and P worked their butts off today to get shit done, and missing a Thursday collection delays UK delivers until Monday rather than Friday…..

Shit. I've given up waiting and I am going home. It is Paul's last chemo session (and the PIC Line is coming out too) tomorrow and we are both really excited about that. I don't need to be sitting in the office waiting for shit not to happen.
Suffice to say, I am really, really pissed off…...
