I actually really like Corona, it's a nice light summer lager, same goes for Estrella and Brahma.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

Was it the Ruby Redbird? That stuff is so refreshing it's one of my summer favorites.

Ruby Redbird is pretty good stuff but Left Hand's Good Juju is my favorite seasonal beer.

Thanks, yes, that was it. It is really good cold. It was not refrigerated in the store and I tried to "freezer" it but didn't have much time and thus took it on ice, which probably isn't fair. An ice cold one of these poolside would be special.

What's the story with the other one Clint? I do like Left Hand.

It's a great summer beer brewed with ginger.  Ruby Redbird is a bit heavy handed with the grapefruit and ginger in my opinion.  The Left Hand has a nice ginger flavor which isn't overpowering.  Overall, a great summer beer in my opinion.  Check out a sixer if you get a chance, you won't regret it.

Yeah, I agree with you on the ginger; I think it throws the balance off.  I think the best offering from Spoetzl is the Shiner Black Lager, though.

Easily one of my favorite readily available brews as evidenced by the numerous previous references.

Such rich vanilla notes and a bit boozey.
