Moleskin for heft and warmth, ventile over the top of it for smoothness and possibly some waterproofing if there is any water ingress through the FQHH, which there should not be as FQHH is effectively waterproof anyway.

Such a great and unique lining system. Sounds much more variable to me, than my wool lining.

Sizing question if I may G-san: versus a regular IH shirt, how much would you typically add to the shoulders and chest to get a similar fit in a heavy leather jacket (non-layering scenario)?

We have now made it the same as IH sizing.

I am an L in IH shirts.  I will now be an L in IHAL Jackets.

But I will need the long version (which is special order), not the regular version (which is what we will hold in stock)

I'm guessing in about 10 days, they are actually being cut at the moment…...(I know because I irritated Will this morning when I changed the sizing.......)

I was wondering the same… I'm really paranoid about my sleeves being the right length. Seems to always be a major issue and not sure how much to compensate for once the creasing sets in. Really want to pull the trigger on one but just want to make sure it's right after dropping 2k on a himel I can't use anymore

Oops just saw g posted it's the same as shirts. Still worried about sleeves though

Tat, I sent you how to measure instructions and the first post says "Any size you want (within reason)…..", why are you worrying?

Like I said, I'm worried about the crease bringing the sleeve to much, or sizing too long. I'm sure I'm over thinking it and worrying for no reason but I've just had bad luck with sleeves on jackets.. Feels like a curse.. Me and my monkey arms..

Is that not the same issue for everyone?  The only difference is you start with longer sleeves.  If in doubt, size too long, it's easy to shorten….

Ahh… Did not know shortening was a possibility. In the past had spoke to another jacket maker who had told me sizing too long was not feasibly "fixable" when he questioned the length of my spec which in turn made me bail. I was fairly certain of my size but then started doubting my self.
