okay, i am conceding. this fits too good to worry about what it's gonna do in water. I'll just have to remind myself to take the thing off before getting into any hot tubs (;)

if you hot wash a sized up one you can probably get one size of shrinkage in length and possibly sleeves, but probably not in other areas.

i would think proportionally the width would shrink more than other dimensions in shirts because this is the longest dimension?

Buddy if you buy the shirt in your IH size i dont see any reason to hot hot wash it. If measurements in your size are good for you go for it and dont worry too much imho

i've washed my 75 & it shrunk a little bit, but in a good way.  looks made to measure.  haven't washed this yet, but the fit is spot on as well.  both are xl for the mad one.
