I just received two pairs of yuketen bluchers and I really have to say I'm quite disappointed with the quality. On both of them the plug looks way too narrow and gives the shoe a pointy look. Overall the shoes are way too narrow. They were labeled a "9E" however these have to be an A in width. The inside "lining" is just some random ass loose pieces of leather and on both shoes looks like shit. On both pairs on different shoes (one pair the right one the left) it feels as if the soles welted improperly? It feels as if I'm stepping off the heel and the toes are already starting to turn up pretty drastically. Overall these shoes are a total mess compared to my rancourts and quoddys, though I do like the slightly thicker self-branded soles they use. I'm really glad i got these on a severe discount. If I'd payed yuketens asking price for them I would be absolutely blowing up their customer service line.

They came out to around $100 a pop and i needed some new casuals for summer so i figured why not... but honestly Id expect better quality out of a $70 pair of chinese sperrys.

I bought all three pairs of Yuketen I have in sale. No problems with quality, but I kind of think the full retail price of them is purposefully hiked up to make them seem like really good value when discounted.

Bumping this thread since I got some new Yuketen sneakermocs.
Might not be for everyone but I really like the profile of these, the name sums up what they were going for.
These feel very substantial and have a lot of arch support which is great for my flat feet.
Went for an 11.5, they're a little snug so I maybe could've gotten a 12 but I'm sure they'll conform a bit.
Only thing that is weird is that the shoe strings are very long. Might cut them a bit shorter at some point.
Also the shoebag fabric is probably the coolest I've ever seen. I want something else made from it like a rug or blanket!

If anyone has any Maine Guide boots, size 9 that aren't getting worn enough, let me know. I'd love to have a pair and retailers don't really stock them so much it seems.

on a related note just scored a pair of eric boots & I am never not amazed at what yuketen does. Anyone ever wanting a nice pair of shoes boots look into yuketen in the 2nds market or end of season sales.
