Nobody thinks an OD type II without a buckle would be awesome?  Maybe with a few other tweaks?

Problem is, Haraki specifically makes them tight so they do not flap when riding…..

Makes sense I guess. I just need about another .25" in my 07 and 81. Wonder if there's a way to stretch them somehow…

Not sure if it will work, but with jeans if you want to stretch the pockets you can cram a bunch of pencils into them

Mr. H should make one of these, but in adult sizing…. (I would buy one) 🙂

Perhaps it would be worth looking into factory reinforcing the button holes on XHS jeans. The buttonholes seem to fray pretty quickly. My 21oz buttonholes have been holding up twice as long (or more) as my 25oz buttonholes.

Funny you should mention this.  When I was getting my sales thread together a while back, I was looking at the differences between my original 634S and the 634 Lefties.  One of the things I noticed was that the fly in the Lefties is reinforced.  Like this:

It appears that there's a thin fabric (muslin, perhaps?) sewn into the fly on on the button hole side.  I'm guessing it's meant to reduce button hole fraying, since I can't think of any other reason to add fabric there.  It's kinda like lining the back pockets, I guess.  Oh, and I checked my 633s; same fabric layer in them, too.

                                        Devil’s Ultra Heavy Biker Sweats
same basic cut as the 666 jeans, but with a slightly smaller waste (due to the natural stretch of the fabric) button fly, belt loops, rear pockets with stitching and lining, flat seemed, long inseam for cuffing. Colors: black, indigo, navy, grey, oatmeal…

I imagine the cuff would be problematic.
