Iron Heart Brown Hairline Hickory Shirts, Cowhide Zippered Wallets, & Jean Restocks
The first new Iron Heart shirt of 2014 has rolled into our stores and it's a good one. The fabric is a hairline hickory done in a new brown-ish color. The color is quite muted due to how close and dense the hairline pattern is on the fabric. The fabric is a medium weight cotton textile and the shirt comes with white snaps and has been rinsed so shrinkage is minimal.
Next up we've received two new Iron Heart wallets in a new shape, both with zippered enclosures and inner card and coin pockets. These are available in both tan and navy leathers which have been paraffin coated for water protection.
Along with these new items we've also received a full restock of Iron Heart's jeans. All these items are available now at all Self Edge stores and in our online shop. Check the product pages for full specs, high-res photographs, and measurements.

If Flat Head continues to produce them we'll continue to stock them but sometimes models go out of production for a while.

Mister Freedom Indian Madras Summer Shirts & Lot 64 Californian Jeans
We've received the first shipment of Mister Freedom's 2014 collection in the form of an Indian Madras shirt and a new version of their popular "Californian" series of jeans.
The madras shirt is a perfect summer weight fabric that breathes well with all the details you'd expect from Mister Freedom including custom cast buttons, chainstitch side seam run-off, shoulder pleat accents, and a great fit.
The new version of the Californian jean brings a slightly modified fit and the details throughout the jean have been changed including a cool new "patch". These have turned into a staple for us at the shops, they're great fitting jeans with Mister Freedom's iconic accents.
The madras shirts and denim jeans are available now at all Self Edge stores and in our online store. Check the online store for full measurements, spec lists, and high-res photographs.

Shrinkage is minimal on that shirt if washed in cold water and line dried. The fabric has been rinsed and it's sanforized.

Yellow Rat's 2014 Summer Collection
From the Japanese surf legend's new collection we have a set of new short sleeve shirts and t-shirts just in time for the warmer months.
First up is a new chambray pull-over with vented side seams, a few buttons down the chest, and a casual unstructured collar. This is a new version of a shirt we had from Yellow Rat a couple of years ago and we're glad to see it redone for this season.
Next up we have a Japanese madras short sleeve shirt with a super casual summer style, get into it.
Last year we received these border striped tees from Yellow Rat and didn't realize they were going to sell as fast as they did. We urged them to redo them this for this season and they remade the tees in navy and blue. These are custom t-shirt bodies made for Yellow Rat which are then screened with a thin water based ink.
All four of these items are available now at all Self Edge stores and in our online store. Check the product pages for more info, measurements, and high-res photographs.

Yup, within the next two weeks, and we're very excited about it.

Stevenson Indigo-Dyed Chinos and Indigo-Dyed Sashiko Scarves
We've got an exciting new release from Stevenson in the form of an indigo-dyed cotton twill slim fitting chino. These were made exclusively for Self Edge and are not available even in Japan. These are lightweight and perfect for warmer climates. The fabric has been rinsed twice and already some of the characteristics of the indigo can be seen at the edges of the fabric.
Along with the indigo-dyed chinos we've received indigo-dyed sashiko scarves with hand sewn accents. The fabrics on these scarves were designed and produced by Stevenson and fully finished by hand to produce one of the most unique scarves you've ever seen.
These chinos, scarves, and a full restock of the Hilts chinos are available now at all Self Edge stores and in our online shop.

Took advantage of my SF trip to stop by Self Edge for the first time. I went in thinking of all the stuff I could try on. TFH & MF and after feeling the fabric in person I went with what impressed me the most.
Picked up the Sugar Cane fiction and romance snap. A great shirt I've overlooked 100 times.
Also grabbed RJB jeans which fit perfectly and felt amazing.
I would have grabbed the MF chambray that Kiya is wearing, but the wife vetoed. For now
