@Superfuzz, Ah hah great and very relevant question, because the new stuff has a grey pull up quality to it, and does not have the same aniline finish. I wanted a more dress leather. I kinda feel like I'm taking a gamble with the new black tie, but figure it must be good, seeing as they've replaced the existing stuff. Just wish they offered a brown base/black aniline finished leather for patina purposes…

@bluegrass, yessir, just MSG Kyle

They line the vamp as default, quarters no. The new domain absolutely does not need a liner in uppers not sure about the old stuff though
As for the 1339 last; my understanding is the 5yr lisencing agreement is up

New Highliners. Stock model, from Boot Werks Fort Lauderdale. Surprisingly comfortable out of the box. Now I need Boss Boots.
-
Forget about it. The wife wants a pair, too.
-
My wife is better than winning the lottery. She's more than I ever deserved. And she'll look so damn sharp in Wesco's.
-
What do you guys think? It's the steel toe version. Yay or nay?
-
That's what I thought. Basically walking around in them… I don't do physical work, except some gardening.
-
Honest opinion….
- They'll last forever.
- They will be complete indestructible.
- They're boring as fuck.
-
Don't buy them unless you really, truly love them. Because they're going to last forever, and frankly, they're pretty damn ugly. Semi lace to toe is Wesco's worst looking option and the steel toe makes them really bulbous in profile.

Thanks guys for talking me out of them. They're a steal, have been ordered by some dude that didn't pick them up at the store. But the more I think about them and look at the picture, the more I'm willing to let them go.
At the moment I'm happy with my Highliners and adding a pair of engineers to the collection makes much more sense.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
