Yeah it is the same cord. And yeah it is pretty special. It's the counterpart to the finer heavy cord on the IH cord jeans.

Unfortunately the heaviness makes it not so easy to sew perfectly. Hence the B stock. But, whatever, the cosmetic perfections on mine are all on the interior, and you wouldn't even notice if I turned em inside out. A steal at less than $100.
