Nice one man. Fall in love definitely my favourite slum village track. Love the Miguel Atwood ferguson orchestral version of it on suite for ma dukes as well

I just started listening to Kanye and am blown away. I haven't listened to hip hop in years. I used to be a big fan late 80's early 90's. I remember seeing Wu-Tang back in '92

Truth be told I was on my way to Brooklyn with a few buddies going to see Neutral Milk Hotel. The dude driving was listening to Jeezus and I have been hooked since. Listening to Kanye on your way to see NMH in Brooklyn is about as hipster as it gets all we were missing was coffee and beards. Fucking losers!

i like you ohighyo, mister fritto man, but he nas has done better work.  his catalogue is crazy, & i respect that he has grown instead of the same tales of fast women & broken homes.

i'll give you the felling you get from illmatic, but that's because you were being introduced to something so raw & untapped & you didn't know what it was gonna be.  sorta of like the "purple tape" with rae & ghost back in the day.

you get this tape & your like wtf is this & then these guys get on & just pour their hearts out.  i'll just say alot changes when you are feeding a bunch of people & take it we got to agree to disagree.

oh andre 3000 is the greatest ever at what he does.  i think he doesn't get the kudos he should

^Andre 3000 is the shit. Can't wait for the new Outkast. Big Boi actually killed it on Luscious Left Foot, too.

I'm also a fan of Kanye's music, and thought Yeezus was great. His personality, and that "Bound" video, though…

                      Anyone see the Franco/Rogan remake?

The reason first albums are sooo good are exactly the reason MM stated. So fresh and raw, unexpected. Plus they had years to put it together. J said that reasonable doubt was like 18yrs in the making lol. Makes sense

Kanye is unlistenable. After one listen of Watch The Throne, I turned it off and will never listen to him again. Nor Hova.

Remember when hip hop was more than just a catalogue of how much awesome shit you had?

i dont enjoy kanye's newer stuff
and his all around shittiness have tainted earlier work for me as well
i'm still a firm believer that the 36 chambers is the best hip hop album by a group
and ready to die is the best by a solo artist
and to the claim the jay-z only had one good album?
                                  are you shitting me ?
                                  his entire catalog is good
i'm not saying its the most thought provoking music
                                  but its fun
and the black album was awesome

and on the notion that the first album by anyone is there best
                                  thats basically ALL of music

don't you know there ain't no devil? only god when he's drunk!

And re Kendrick MM, I think he's the best of the last few years, by a long ass way.

Honourable mentions to Danny Brown and A$AP Rocky.  Fresh, new.

                                        funny mclain,

i love earlsweatshirt & nipsey hussle but now we would be getting into a music talk.

best rap group album would have to go to a tribe called quest midnight marauders or outcast aquemini.
best solo i'll get back to you in the correct thread . . . if i can really give it thought.

this thread is for hate & discontent being spread out  😞

so to get back to it, i don't want winter/cold weather to end.  don't get me wrong, i hate snow more than anyone i know, but the general cooler weather is the sh!t, fuck the sand & beaches.  give me a cold city street & i'm happy mofo,  most people look way better dressed than in short sleeves & chicken legs.  makes it easier to talk to folks if they scrawny legs is covered

while i'm at it you shouldn't wear muscle shirts if you haven't seen a gym/exercise since the last time the olsen twins was on full house
