What can I say, I wear 25er's all the time and these seem lite on my legs but they unbelievably cool. Love them.

25oz would be unbearable. Try and track down a pair of 804's if these aren't hardcore enough for you. The 804's were as if cardboard was strapped to your legs.

Looks like 25 oz duck could happen someday….23 might be enough....can't wait to find out

Given that it's north of 100 degrees in Hell-A right now, I think that my brother's assessment is right.

So I've grabbed him a pair of the 15 oz Triple Works Beatle Busters instead, which are probably more climate friendly.
