Random Rants

I've never seen "genuflection" spelled with an "x" but I rather like it. And wholly agree with the sentiment.
It can be spelled either way, I like words which have this ability of dual spelling. I also feel that the letter X gets a bad rep from its association with sex and triple x movies.

Oh I wasn't questioning that it was a proper spelling. I've seen "connexion" as well.
X has a good rep with me. Except for that Kiss song!

A minor rant or quibble if you will…
A relatively new member of the forum recently PM'd me to ask some advice on sizing for an article of clothing they were considering buying. No problem. I'm genuinely happy to help someone with this type of issue, hopefully with as much cheer as other forum members have shown towards me when the roles have been reversed. I duly responded with a detailed description of the sizing, my impressions of the fit, my own measurements for reference and a couple of other points I thought might be useful. And then... nothing. No further communication received.
Now, don't misunderstand me. I'm not looking for endless praise or thanks for this minor act. I do, however, think that brief acknowledgment when someone provides assistance is good form and tends to promote a positive and friendly atmosphere around the place.

I was just telling Qin that he's not alone and there are other "victims" along with him who suffer from the same situation.@Snowy: yeah, possibly lost in translation and due to lack of internet-emotion
