Hi G, what is the effect of your modification?

I've added a swivel between the lure and the hook to stop the hook rotating behind the lure.  I've swapped out the treble for a single hook, as I am using a popping float to give me the weight to cast with.  Because the lure is lighter than the float, when I cast the lure travels behind the float, using a single rather than a treble reduces the chance of the lure getting tangled in the line…

I'm going to have to sneak in when Paula is elsewhere and manufacture a load.  The Cuda's simply nailed this thing.  I think that part of the reason was the commotion the popping float made a foot or so upstream of Come to Papa.  A number of times the fish hit the float (but usually came back for Come to Papa).  So I made a mod.  Unfortunately, the focus is all wrong, but you should see a stinger attached to the swivel below the float (it works - I had two hooked on that today…)...
