Huge. Black denim is Lou Reed/Metallica stuff.
I own literally dozens of jeans, but just only by hypothesis…
Size down one, you say? Like I did in 634s-b? I did 29 in 634s and 28 in 634s-b, and they did well both.
So what?

Looks to my eye very similar to the non-selvedge used in the 1634. Would love to see those two denims together.

I have no 21oz black non-selvedge here to compare it with,  But the 634 (non "S") and 1634 denims are produced on the same projectile looms and the 21oz black selvedge and 21oz indigo selvedge are produced on the same shuttle looms.

So, if we assume that the relationship between the "S" and the non "S" denims are the same, then the 1634 denim will be a lot smoother and have more inconsistency in it than the 634S-blk denim.

All,  I mistakenly told people that I had used up all this denim, so I had designated these as endangered.  I found out last night we have more of the denim, so I have made these extent.  Sorry for any unintended misinformation.

I notice the measurement in a size 31 is an inch bigger waist.  I'm really hoping to see some fit pics and maybe some feed back.
Has anyone compared them to 634s yet?

Just size down one tagsize from your 634S size.  However, if you know what you 634S measured out of the box ask us to find a pair of blk as close as poss - that's what we are here for….

^ perfect fit right there. I am really trying hard not to purchase these as I've got some 710bk's that don't get enough attention as it is…owning these would not help.

el camino, since you sized down one, did these fit noticeably slimmer through the thigh and leg than the indigo 634's? I'm asking because, I've noted that I would probably do the same and think that slimmer leg would be nice.
