We got almost a foot of fresh powder yesterday at my local mountain. Went to take some photos and the battery on my iphone depleted because of the cold. Skiing was beautiful last night.
-
Nothing like fresh powder. It's nice you had a chance to get out and take advantage.
-
I ski 5-6 times a week. We just don't get a ton of the white fluffy stuff that isn't man made . East coast skiers are really unspoiled.
-
I'm horribly spoiled with proximity and quality, but I haven't made it out once this year. The kiddos are on me. They are starting to get old enough that it's fun to take them rather than a chore.

With the closure of the blast furnace plant PHOENIX West in 1998 and the closure of the oxygen steel plant, at 2001 160 years of industrial history went for the district of Dortmund Hoerde to an end. With the closure of the steelworks were a total of 200 hectares of industrial land broke in direct environment.
With the idea of creating on the former factory grounds with a lake, the most radical Strukturwandelungskonzept for the redevelopment of a former industrial site is completed in 2013.
We like it.

Paula and I were going to go for a walk today, fresh air and all that, but the weather is seriously shite, so we went to the the Royal Armouries Museum at Fort Nelson. It is free to get in, and if you like bangy stuff is seriously amazing.
