For sure. But then again, IH is no ROY. Especially for the reason that I live in a place where summer seems to be year around, I unfortunately seem to have to admire IH instead of actually wear it. So jealous of those that can actually layer and not be sweating balls all the time.
Okay guys…. Price estimate time. I'm gonna say $385 for the shirt.

Do we know anything about the denim? I agree with GMB's estimate on pricing and will sit this one out. I wear denim bottoms so much I shy away from tops. If I got another one it'd be IH.

I agree tigerpac. My first pair of selvage were a pair of Roy's. They have since been sold. I am sure this new shirt will be crazy priced, and again, be his most labor intensive project. At what point do you say fuck it to something inferior (when I say inferior i am really just saying not as tough) to a similar item and priced just as high, because of labor costs. I'll take a IH shirt that cost probably less, that 15 people made, over a more expensive one just because one person made it. I still love my roy ducks and I don't hate my roy portland, even with the cig burn. I have just decided that i am done drinking that particular jug of kool aid. Hat off to roy though because he seems to be making a living.

I'm always down to keep it real, but I definitely see where ROY has his strongpoints. You're simply not going to get the details that you get on a shirt from him compared to those you get from IH. They're unnecessary, but at this point almost everything is so that point is null.
I don't like how fast everything sells out though, that screams hype

Roy's WS-1 chambray is looking like a real bargain when it was $310
and I'm with GMB I'm sorry I miss out on it (I remember when it dropped and I had a chance to buy it but held off). I'm sure I'll be priced out on this one. I do love my Roy ducks and SF01s though. -
I love my Portland. I'll keep it until it wears out. This forthcoming shirt looks great but so does Iron Heart's and it's probably built like a tank. And has a pen pocket. I love that detail on work shirts. I'm a bit rough on stuff so that counts. I also generally prefer western double yoke snap shirts.

I will likely not be picking this one up but it's from no aversion to ROY…. The shirt looks nice but it's not $3xx to me and that's really all that matters. Plus I can't be doing Canadian tuxedoes all the time...
