Fudging hell man ….40 Gs.....i raise my glass and tip my hat to you sir . Good move mate .....
Here in Japan ( well this corner of it , at the bottom ) I can buy a new house for under $200 K .
However houses here go down in value as they age , so you won't make a profit selling later. -
Oneiric is a super album, hard to choose a fav but here goes:
Ginger Magician, are you listening….?

And some mod-tastic Tipper:

d666 and natehate…. i did the same thing a few years ago. i sold my entire music collection (save a couple gems and sentimental pieces) to armageddon shop. put a down payment on a house with it. i felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders when all that stuff was gone. although there were records that i will never be able to get again i realized that i didn't listen to any of them anymore. they just sat there collecting dust.
-
Just thinking back to make 40 grand I must have dumped 120
-
i'm honestly glad that the stuff is being enjoyed by someone else. any music that i loved i still have in some format, but the hoarding mentality of collecting records just got to be too much for me.
-
Pixies are officially back!!!
Ep-2 is just as good as EP-1. Lets all pretend Bam Thwok and Bagboy never happened.
-
i'm curious to what you kept
nothing crazy. mostly just stuff that had some sentimental value to me.

Ughh. Spotify is slacking! I liked EP-1, but EP-2 hasn't landed on the service, yet. Patience…

Here phishy phishy…
Since there are a lot of Phans on the phorum, I thought I'd share that both Phish AND the String Cheese Incident are playing NOLA Jazz Fest this year. This hippie always goes second weekend and apparently they play the first one, so no meetup opportunity for me.
NOLA is my favorite city and the festival (more accurately the club shows during the Fest) is something all music lovers should experience at least once.
