The best part was the 2 others in the elevator who were secretly taking pics as well. So pissed I didn't snap one from the front. Oh well it's a long winter.

Just called DHl for the 5th time in the last days to track down my missing package (with my UES jeans in it). The package gets updtaed every few days, but never delivered and those morons can't even tell me who is scanning it or where it has been moved. What is the damn tracking code good for then? I can call UPS while they're delivering and the change the destination according to my wishes. Let alone that the last package from the UK was here 6x faster than the one I'm waiting for, that was sent 400 km away.
Plus I'm waiting for a replacement they promised to me 8 weeks ago. And they want to raise prices next year…

Thank you. Called them again and had a pretty good argument, which lead to the statement that they would have nobody that's the main responsible one for the delivery of packages or the postboxes. And there wouldn't be a phone-number for the delivery service in my town.
I told her that this must be false, this is not how a business works. Well, i was given her boss then and he shared my opinion and promised to inquire by calling the guys in my town. But I tell you, I'm not confident that it works. They blame the sender btw

No seriously, you have a picture of the package he sent and the address was clearly visible and my package also arrived. At least this time you had the chance to talk to a “boss”. I’m still crossing my fingers for you that it works out! -
Thank you. Yeah, whatever boss that was. They still don't direct you to the one that's really resposible, all are sitting miles away and just tell you what you can see online yourself. But the whole point of tracking is whack if you can't see who is handling your package and where it is. Again, UPS is so much better.

Winter starts in ten days. Minneapolis got the memo a bit early. The windchill is under -20F and I could swear I got frostbite on my hand filling my car this morning.

Yeah I saw Denver had weirdly low temps recently so I'm assuming a lot of us are suffering.
I have managed not to bust out the down yet. I have a killer Marmot that's reminiscent of a Canada Goode style minus the coyote fur but it's not as cool as a deck or a shearling (today's choice). If we start hitting negative double digits I will look like this:

I got some schmutz on the seat of my beetle busters last night. Irritating. The worst part is not knowing what it is.

So I've been trying to buy goods not made in countries such as China, Vietnam, Cambodia,… I bought some Everlane t-shirts and in short: they're shite... I've bought some Flint & Tinder (I initially wrote Flint & Tender but that sounded so much like a gay softcore vid that I quickly checked the name) tees, they're coming in tomorrow.
Because I needed new tees STAT and because I can't spend 50 € on fancy Jap made ones, I bought a three-pack of Hanes beefy tees... They're fucking EXCELLENT.. I can buy 'm for 5 $ a piece... But they're made in Cambodia
Point is though: why would I spend 25 $ on a US made tee if it's not good quality, and not even half a decent fit???
Currently looking at buying a Hanes beefy sweatshirt... For 20 €... No doubt would I prefer buying a Strike Gold or Jelado one, but it's just not possible on my budget...
