I've tired of watches that only exist in, and can only document the passage of time in, this dimension, so for my next timepiece I'm looking for something with little more flexibility…

    Think it, be it.

I have that. I bought it in 2026.

^ Lovely, I'm a big fan of the Bauhaus-inspired design.

Pink Mille Miglia spotted in Watches of Switzerland yesterday. I'm not sure if it's completely tasteless or rather cool.

And a Doctor Who themed diving watch by the Orange Watch Company. More at aBlogToWatch.

I don't see why it can't be both.

Just got back from Nassau, what a watch lovers Mecca. Almost bought another Tudor but my ever present and realistic wife talked me down.

Transitting Nassau in 2 months.  Good prices?

Chopard mille miglia is a nice watch. I'm looking for purchasing one. Those Junghans watches are also nice for more formal occasions.

So it seems that most discounts hover around 10-20% depending on the brand plus the benefit of no tax/duty. The big difference is the number of brands that are unavailable to try on at home. One gent there was letting me try on a $28,000 Piaget Antiplano. No interest financing lol!

Thanks, if I have the time, I'll stop by.  I will be rushing to and from fishing, so I will have other things on my mind…...

After spending too much time looking for a not too expensive watch I finally worked it out. I want a Maratac Mid Pilot 2012. First saw Urbanwoodsman`s large Pilot in the pocket dump thread some time ago.

This is stupid for a variety of reasons:

                                    • They don´t ship to Europe
                                    • Even Americans have a tough time getting one, they´re kind of hyped and the producer seems to be badly organized
                                    • The 2012 model is discontinued and the 2013 version is ugly.
                                    • As a German I have a couple of producers of much more original "Flieger"-watches right around the corner.

Still I dig this one - annoying. Any advice?
