talking about older movies i watched Purple Rain & Urban Cowboya few nights ago, really long story & it's amazing the amount of violence against women which was acceptable in flicks.  Both awesome movies as I'm a romantic who loves lace, purple, mechanical bulls & cowboy boots .  .. .

That is a pair of classics.  Very influential movies, fashion-wise.  Both terrible, but awesome at the same time.

And yeah, a disturbing amount of violence toward women.  Nice that society's changed enough that it's shocking to us.

mum bought a big ass turkey and some ham and all the other goods (cornbread, colored greens, stuffing, sweet mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts with bacon, ...) will be made today...can't wait to get started!

I just took delivery of one of the most beautiful items of clothing that it has ever been my pleasure to hold, and it does not fucking fit as I am currently in winter storage/ hibernation/ fatty mode.
