Off-white/natty could be another story… especially with contrasted stitching, like say a natural Western with persimmon stitching...

I would never wear a white shirt casually, white is for the office, or the formal scene… And yeah, as Iron Heart is designed to last forever, no white shirts in my experience have lasted more that a couple of years at most, before they start to look stained...
But i am a pale fekker, and thats my opinion!

Does hemming the jeans change the measurement of the hem or would it be just like the measured hem before its hemmed. I would think if I get the jeans cut short the hem would become bigger. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

                      Here are the sums…...

Take the difference between the knee and the cuff  - lets say 0.5"
Then on a 36" inseam there is 23" between knee and cuff (36-13)
There is thus 0.5/23" or 1/46" or 0.0217" increase in cuff, per inch you shorten the inseam by
Say you cut off 6" and the cuff was 9", then the new cuff would be about 9.13"  (9 + 0.0217" * 6)

Edit.  Fixed because I'm dumb and GMB has a larger brain than me....

I'm looking for suggestions for a classic looking old school vintage sneaker type of footwear, simple right? Apart from I cannot wear Converse or Vans (I have a high arch so something as flat as these literally murders my feet), nothing too sporty (no Nike Air Max), and I absolutely hate GATs (I just think they look so boring).

                              Any other suggestions?

Actually Gav, you're looking for something that doesn't exist. What I would suggest is getting the sneakers you like aesthetically, and use substantial insoles like these http://www.yoursole.com/us/mens/footbeds/insulated-ultra/

Thanks man, Nate PM'd me and pretty much said the same thing. I just can't get on with Chucks, I've tried several pairs and they just feel cheap and nasty.

I know its a different aesthetic from converse/vans, but you do still get that super classic look. I like the 574s, 996s, 1300s…

Or your could go for Reebok Classics…not something I see around alot, but in that same vintage vein.

Or you could go the classic Nike route. I'm a big fan of the Blazer:

And also the cortez (not my favorite….but a classic nonetheless)
