If you get custom wescos, I'd suggest that you DO NOT order double midsole. Single is enough for boots that are used for mainly walking OR with elec. starter bike. (real bikes are kicked to life )
Of course if you want double midsole for some other reason, it's your choice then. They will need double time to break up.

What the feck??  It SAYS it's Chromexcel (I take chrome tanned Horween in this context to mean that) steer right in the flippin' description!  I guess I should understand them not knowing the difference, it's not like they're a leather company or something…

yeah, that was my read too. shell cordovan is different from cordovan the color, i.e. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cordovan_(color)

White's Northwest. Oiled twice and never really properly cleaned.

The bullhide leather seems to be hard to clean as I have problems removing dirt marks and stains and even with a layer of obernauf LP, they are still susceptible to the occasional water stain.
