Is that in St. Louis?  Kolache Factory is a Texas thing.  Julie loves kolaches.

Yessir, our first time but it was pretty good. I could see it being from Texas with the ranchero Kolache.

There was a huge influx of Czech and German immigrants to the hill country around central Texas in the late 1800s.  Over the years, traditional central European foods turned into hybridized Texan ones.  I love stuff like Wurstfest in New Braunfels, "The 10 Day Salute To Sausage."

We used to make Kolaches on the submarine. They looked like rolls, but with a depression in the middle that I would fill with cherry pie filling. After they were baked I would drizzle some thin icing over the top. They were nick-named "Bloody Assholes."

best "snack" i had since ages…can't get enough of it tbh.! ^^
in the office i always stock a monster jar of raw almond butter, peeled almonds, 85-99% choc and some bananas and apples...gotta love that shit!

Grass Run ribeye. You Europeans may take grass fed beef for granted, but it's still fairly rare here. The American palate prefers fatty grain fed beef, and grain-fed, hormone-injected, miserable feedlot-living cattle certainly yield more meat faster than letting them graze on what they're supposed to eat. I prefer grassfed, originally for humane and health reasons, now for those reasons and flavor.

Started with oysters and a Brussels sprouts salad. This needed no side save a claret.
