So, the accommodation hunting is going slightly better than the job hunting… Looked at two places locally today. The first was a very nice flat right in the centre of town (town has two main streets which the incredibly imaginative locals always refer to as... Top Street and Bottom Street, because Princess Street and King Street are too difficult). Only snag is that it would cost 3/4 of my current monthly wage to rent and then I've got to buy food as well... The second was £100 per month cheaper (and closer to my current place of work) but unfurnished... And I don't really want to get a load of furniture if it's only going to be temporary (because aside from my future finances, I could very cheerfully walk out of my job tomorrow).
So I'm looking further afield. Which brings into play a not very funny catch 22 situation. I can't really afford to rent anywhere for more than 2-3 months tops without a job. But none of the jobs I've applied for around the country have got past the application stage. Due in large part to the fact I don't live in the area...
Oh well still got 13 days before I have to move out :-\

My interviews on Friday went well. I actually showed a few people my "Iron Heart Denims" site and they liked what I was doing.
I was on /r/rawdenim and found out that Megatron1505 is running a shop and people seemed pretty excited about a particular pair of jeans (http://nokipple.com/products/nkxeh01-collaboration-hand-woven-jeans)

Just received extra attention from TSA due to the front pocket bags on my Roy SF01s. I had to tell the guy multiple times I didn't have paper in my front pocket. I thought I was going to have to strip down.

Haha yeah. I had the same thing with 17oz jeans. Dude felt them and was like "Whoah those are brand new huh?" No, about 3 months almost daily wear. I also has an episode with my keychain tool once but it is TSA compliant.

just found out that a couple of dudes have opened up some kind of factory/shop where they make, repair and sell jeans. its an interesting project/concept and even though i wont buy their product, having a place 10 min from my home where i can get my jawnz a new chain stitched hem is nice!
