When you guys get new denim that is prone to lots of bleeding (such as ye olde 25 oz IH), do you tuck in your shirts anyways? If so, does the indigo wash out if it transfers? Please and thank you.

I generally don't tuck, but I really wish more denim brands would line the inside of the wasteband with something.  Either do a double wasteband of denim, but natural denim on the inside, or use another non-crocking fabric like chambray, duck, or (as I have in some old Rag & Bones) a herringbone cotton twill or some such.  This is the kind of detail that I really appreciate in a garment.

                  Think it, be it.

Personally, I'm a sloppy bastard and never tuck my shirts, so that hasn't been an issue for me.  That said, any indigo should wash out of your shirts pretty easily.  After all, it's an unstable dye that isn't colorfast in the denim.

I do tuck and i get indigo stains all over like you and a lot of us especially on white tees. Actually i love it personally. The crocking and bleeding will dissappear over time. Indigo stains go away when washed

                      Cheers,

If that's your itinerary, I'd suggest driving from B to Miami through road 90, Tamiyami Trail. Smaller road and 'gators and other wild animals can be spotted roadside.  75 is just boring highway….

Ehh that's debatable. I still get some transfer from my FHs that I've worn every other day for months. I imagine it depends on the denim and the specifics.

I'm getting shit loads of indigo transfer from my TW-666N after 6 months of constant wear, and these give up their indigo very very reluctantly…..

Thanks for the response Seul. I've never worn heavyweight denim though and from what I've read I'm not sure I could handle 25 oz. Would the 18 oz as used on the 666S be the next step down from that, warmth wise? Forum members seem to think the 18 oz is warmer than the more breathable 21 oz.

23oz is the tightest weave, used on some Self Edge collabs. The 25oz gets quite soft, quite quickly, that would be my recommendation.
