I hope there is minimal loss of life and property, but Seul raises a good point. They should make the black boxes out of XHS.

      Think it, be it.

not really sure if this is a "for Giles only" thread, but what are the actual costs for shipping two shirts to Germany or switzerland?

Shipping costs have gone up man, since January… Two shirts, heavyweight ones?.. Could be as much as 35-40, cheapest service...

Thing I would advice you to do: add the 4 % and pay as Paypal purchase payment...

Trying to figure out a way to ship to Germany or Switzerland to hook up a fellow forum member with a shirt that doesn't cost an arm and a leg… Have used the USPS calculator and the cheapest I'm getting is anywhere from 44 USD to 55 usd and other options getting up past 88 usd. Can anyone give me done advice on how to make this happen for less cost shipping?

This morning our UPS account manager gave us an overview of their “UPS My Choice” service, which we hope will help many of you enormously.  We understand completely how frustrating it is to miss a delivery, or stay home only to find the delivery has been delayed, etc. etc.  But we’re told that many of these problems can now be resolved by giving you more control…

Launched within the US in 2011, many of our US customers may already have signed up for this (and if you already use it for UPS deliveries within the US we’d be delighted to get some feedback).

“My Choice” has now been rolled out to many other countries, including most of Europe.  The UPS package recipient signs up online, which then gives him/her access to packages in transit.  Some features are:

                                          • you will receive text or email notification of estimated 1-hour delivery slot
                                          • you can change timing of delivery if not suitable
                                          • you can change address of delivery
                                          • you can arrange pickup from convenient UPS customer centre (and many of these are open outside regular working hours)
                                          • you can request package is held (for up to 10 days we believe) before delivery

The services do vary a bit from country to country, but we hope this will make life easier for many of you, please take a look and see what you think:

                                          http://www.ups.com/mychoice/

We’ve been told we can start using this straight away, and I believe it takes a few days for security verification, so those of you expecting to get something from us – or anyone – via UPS soon, please sign up now!

If you have any questions – especially about countries where this is not yet operational - drop me an email or PM.

                                          AKA Mrs G
