Four years old and 40,000 miles on it is a great deal. If its from 09 I think that is the first year they did the a3 tdi. It's diesel so Milage is almost irrelevant. That fucker will go half a million miles. We love ours and its a lot of fun. With a chip i bet it moves.

When we bought our A3, i didn't even really pay attention to the power,  I just wanted good mileage. The new 2 door a3 that is coming out gets 70 some miles to a gallon, which is crazy!! Our four door gets around 48 miles per gallon highway.

well a work mate of mine is selling his. ~4years, ~65k km, free service until 100k km, winter and summer wheels, chip tuning from 265hp to 320hp and everything you can ask for inside the damn thing!

The point (pedantically maybe) is that Finn quotes text about the tdi and then answers another question.  I knew that he was considering an S3, but his post makes no mention on an S3 only the tdi.

ok ok ok…that's bitching on the highest level right there G. in the end we all know what's going on now, do we so S3 sportback is what i am considering. just need to know where to get the money from ^^
