Yeah not a huge casserole guy but there's a restaurant called "Haute Dish" (play on the term "hot dish," which categorizes such casseroles) that does a deconstructed tater tot hot dish with bechamel and short rib that is a mind blower 🙂

      Think it, be it.

Thanks mclaincausey, that's another question I had about US language/culture ticked off the list.

I played a Walking Dead game recently and thought one of the characters said "hot dish night", but because of his accent I wasn't 100% sure and just guessed his other nights must be cold dish nights. It all makes sense now.

His thumb is of a type nicknamed the Hitchhiker's Thumb.  What's going on with it?  Nothing but normal genetics, as it turns out.  Check it out:

Adam103 nails it.  However, I can't do that with my left thump as I sliced through the tendon when whittling a stick in my teens.  The resultant scar tissue means the left thumb does not bend as much….

ha, totally offtopic, I have hitchikers thumbs as well…

I think that's why I didn't pay any attention to Gs thumb. Straight thumbs are weird.

After a search, iirc, these are one washed i.e. low/no starch. Just confirming do I need to soak these to prolong life before wearing forever? Was a bit skeptical on the reported softness but these are really… soft. Is it exactly as soft as previous Zimbabwe cotton?

You can wash them if you want to, but it's not necessary.  They should be fine either way.

As for the softness and the source of the cotton, I'm guessing that Haraki never would have allowed them out of the factory if they weren't as good, if not better, than the previous production runs.

No one noticed the change from Zimbabwe to USA, including me.  The softness is a function of the way we construct the weft as much as the length of the staple.  There is no need to soak as we have done it for you, but there will certainly be no harm in doing so.  It is not starch that you will see coming out of the denim, it is the colour fastening product we use to retard fade…

Was thinking and reflecting on these tonight. These jeans literally changed my life. They impressed me so much at the time, and continue to 1.5 years later, that my entire wardrobe has shifted, as well as my aims and ideas of what life could be. These jeans partly opened my love of denim from something in hiding to loud and proud. They're that good. Life changers.

They've certainly shifted my view of how good jeans can/should be. I got a pair a few weeks ago, my first pair of IH jeans, and since then I don't really like wearing any of my other jeans. They just feel like paper in comparison.

                                            Hi,

I found a IH-634S on an eBay auction sized W36. Does the size differ to a IH-1634? PMs would be fine till this afternoon  😉
