Fingers crossed it doesn't do anything in the wash, that chest is touch and go. Spot on in all other dimensions. The joys of the interwebs. Really nice looking pattern, especially the orange contrasting.

I have the blue version, it shouldn't shrink much if you just cold wash and hang dry.

Virtually all of Flat Head's shirts and tees are washed (that's what the "W" at the end of the product code means) and won't shrink at all unless perhaps you wash them in really hot water or tumble dry them.  The only exceptions I can think of are the unwashed 7001 denim western shirts, and of course Flat Head's jeans.

I've owned a ton of FH shirts and tees and none of them have ever shrunk with normal wash and wear.

I have the exact same shirt, I absolutely love it.  It instantly became my favorite shirt.  The dobby stripe pattern reminds me of old-school video games.

My amazing psychic powers tell me that you bought it at VMC.  They're such a cool store.  I'd love to visit someday.

Hi man glad to read. Yup from VMC, when you visit Zurich one day just hit me up. Can show you the town a bit

Mclaincausey very nice flannel, i personnally like snugger fits around chest too. As long as it does not cut my armpits its usually fine

                  Cheers,

After much trying on of shirts… Well, an hour or two  :P, I decided that of all TFH and RJB shirts I'd tried, it was the houndstooth check I was going to walk away with. Nothing at all to do with the fact it was the last in the shop and therefore on sale  😉

So, it turns out I'm a size 40 in TFH and RJB shirts. And now another way to spend horrible amounts of money has appeared  😢

Also tried on a few of the TFH flannels, they fit my malformed body even better than IH flannels do which was a nice thing to discover.

Except for the whole, costing more thing that they do…  ???

It took a massive effort of will to not buy any more... But then Danny began mentioning a flannel he's getting in stock soon. Phrases like "heaviest flannel TFH have done" and "Ivory body" were used...

Looking forward to seeing pics... Hoping that all the 40s will have been sold by the time I check the site.

And, I'm sorry to keep banging on about Danny, but he clearly has a massive passion for TFH. To the extent that he almost doesn't want to sell some items that are in his size :).

Thanks, it was pretty much a given that it'd fit from the moment I'd got my arm through the first sleeve… Which was a "problem" I had with all TFH shirts I tried on. Originally I'd tried on a 38 in some of the flannels but they were just a touch too tight in the chest.

I also love the MOP snaps, and especially the placement on the breast pockets.

I really like the charactereistics of some oftheir denim but just dont like how skinny my se-5bsp look on me. They aren't too tight really, just look weird for some one as tall and long legged as me to wear such a skinny cut if that makes sense.

Get the 1005s, they're a straight cut with about a 96 cm pre-soak inseam, and they don't shrink a lot.  You can also stretch out the inseam when they're wet.  Unlike other FH models, you will want to size down, the denim is stretchier than the 14.5 oz.

                                            Hi Tatmantall.

I'm 6.5, and i also have the 5bsp, mainly because i couldn't resist the ekstra long inseam. The days of walking up and down the streets of copenhagen to find a decent pair of jeans being long enough is finally over, thanks to the small people of japan :)…..Hope i'm not offending anybody.

A little (maybe) relevant info. My unsanforized denim such as IH666s and Samurai S5000VX-25oz, i was actually able to pull the inseam when damp, so it's exactly the same length as when i got them. The inseam Scrinkage was about 2 inches after two smoking hot soakes. I know it's not rocket science, but if your'e not able to pull hard enough while standing up, try this : You need a car, a towel (or some other fabric), and some flat wood. 1 :Put the damp jeans flat on the ground, wrap the towel around the upper part, and put the wood on top, laying as if you where measuring the thigh.  2: park the car with one wheel on the jeans (heaviest end depending on car model), so that only the part from where you measure the thigh is visible. 3 : exercise your back so it's warm and ready to work hard for a few explosive seconds. 4: Put your feet up against the wheel, and pull.

Well the very short info was this. When i buy jeans i don't worry about the inseam anymore, cause i'm able to pull them back to the original length.

                                            Enjoy 🙂
