Absolutely love whole pastured milk. Which goes against paleo, but I have no issues with lactose, love milk, and the nutritional profile from pastured dairy is insane.

              Well y'all like cheese?

For those of us lucky enough to tolerate and love it, way cheaper even at $7/gallon than protein powders I bet. All the CLA and omega 3s you want too!

:). Hemp milk is the best! Pity it doesn't exist down in Australia.

No idea. I don't log or count, I just don't drink sodas or juice, I'm careful about fruit, I don't do grains, and I never eat sweets. Mainly veggies, whole, pastured organic milk, pastured, organic meats, wild caught cold water fish.

Despite our disagreement about the theoretical underpinnings, that's probably not too far off what I'd do. 😃

I don't have a problem with grains and fruit, and am more into low fat milk (but I understand there are benefits of full fat), but that's fiddling with the corners.

No, I'm not eating that clean right now. I do need to fix my diet.

As for milk, humans have adapted to drinking milk (see this article) about 7500 years ago.

I have read that article, and it's only speaking of a few groups of human that retain lactose tolerance into adulthood. Since I'm apparently in that group, I drink it. The article sort of reminded me of Gus, Germs, and Steel, characterizing the adaptation as a competitive advantage.

Rode 25 miles today. Forgot how much I enjoy riding a bike. I know it's not optimal for burning fat, but it sets calories ablaze and is ridiculously fun. Came home and killed this Paleo meal.

                                    Any updates from you guys?

Virtual Skogg has changed it's format to a more Crossfit type schedule. He's posted 70 different workouts (I can only do 64 of them because six of them involve Crosscore and Stroops which I don't own…yet) that you do in order

It no longer goes by levels, so the weight and tempo are all up to you

Did the first one with a bell I probably shouldn't have been swinging for all 30 minutes, and I'm still sore three days later

                                    If anyone's interested, they're running a promotion: $1 for 31 days coupon skogg2013

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

Yep, I've been a Virtual Skogg member for 3-4 months now, so I was happy to see that email- $10 a month cheaper and the first month for a dollar.  Score!

I love the flexibility of being able to use different weights to control the difficulty of a workout.  Light and fast tempo for conditioning, heavy and slow for muscle development.  Kettle bells are great, but Julie's not happy with the divots in the carpet from when I've dropped bells (and yes, I do the penalty push ups).

I probably get a Skogg workout in once every 3 weeks, just enough to continue kicking my ass for being bad and missing so many. When life settles it's one of the first things I'm adding back in of an evening.
