          hey, sry for the late reply…the grinder is nothin special, 25bucks from eBay. the brand is called "Haushalt International" ...really nothing special ^^

          Should check out if it's a Ceramic Conical Burr Grinder. The different in grinder types/styles is;
          a)ceramic - it keeps cool and doesn't cause friction/burn the beans
          b)conical - helps with consistent partical sizing
          c)burr - these crush the beans and help open the coffee bean up. Blade grinders slice the bean.

          I hope this is helpful, it does make a taste difference, and I also kind of both love and hate I know this much about coffee :|

            V60 should be as easy to clean up? Just throw the filter paper in the bin and you're done.

            I Aeropress in the office, V60 @ home.

            V60 I make 2.5 FULL sized cups that I drink over a few hours, vs 1 regular size in the Aeropress.

              Urbs, this is how I brew my v60, it's a little more advanced in technique but it's the best method I've tasted, from the '12 world champion;

                Neither are difficult to clean up or make, but if you have to clean the v60 and the ranger server each time(which I will because I'm a neat freak) it's a little bit more of a hassle. The Aeropress just gets popped in the trash and a quick clean of the rubber. Also, it's done directly into the mug.

                Anyways, my point was more about the time it takes for each method. I know you're super zen about the whole process but sometimes I need a quick cup.

                    Ah, Yeah I didn't see the range server in the photo. Totally agree, little more cleaning over all.

                    In terms of timing, I clean the range server after the 2nd cup, not at the time of pouring the first (mind you if I was making for 2 people, I'd be different).

                    Riddle me this, is the time/effort involved in making 2 cups of Aeropress greater than or less than 2 cups with a V60? I'd say overall it's about the same. V60 makes 2 cups @ once, Aeropress you have to repeat the same routine twice….

                                  My grinder's burrs are not ceramic, it's Swiss-made stainless steel. Ceramic is optimal, but to hit a ~$100 price point that was the compromise.

                                    that kettle is super nice. too bad i wasn't able to get it...gonna buy a different one now with a bigger spout. should do the trick as well i think! pouring it isn't as classy though as with the one above...

                                    and thanks for the offer McKleine...gonna search around a bit more and then we'll see!
