Lindemann's Framboise and whatever the cherry is called are super rare examples of fruity beers that I love.  They are sufficiently dry, I think that's the key for me…

Snowy this is the first one. Next in OCT. at the Reading Liederkranz. The Oktoberfest at the Liederkranz is one of the best in the USA. Look them up on the web.

Actually, September is,illogically, the classic time for the Oktoberfest. The very main event of this nature, the "Wiesn" in Munich, had been moved already in the 19th century from October to September, for the obvious reason of better climate. It stayed there ever since, and most other Oktoberfests moved along and followed suit.
