Tyler is such a nice dude. And McLain, I tried a medium on a while ago and it felt like the right size, if not even a little too big. I think for you a large would be the most you'd want to do…..even with a hoodie.

I suggest taking the same size in this as you do IH shirts. If you are going to just wear it with a t-shirt you could probably size down one from your normal IH shirt size.

i wear same size in this and IH shirts - if anything this is generously cut for a XXXL.

I would like to think I have established a fairly good working relationship with a few of the places I shop. It's not normally something I would ask for but I've debated the sizes the last couple weeks and am having a hard time coming to a decision. I asked Tyler if it would be a problem, and let him know I completely understood if it was not something they were able to do. It's certainly not a favor I would ask on every purchase, like CLJ stated its just not that feasible… However, like I said... I'm sure being a very regular patron and establishing that relationship lends a certain amount of trust. I'm very appreciative

curious to see what you end up with. I always though I need M and when Finn now says, that L was big on him, I feel right. Although I was adviced L by many. Difficult decision (but not one I have to make right now).

I guess the confusion is that it's outerwear, but it's uninsulated and to be worn trim, and many of us want to layer.

Yes, this is exactly my experience… I plan to wear it in cooler weather (layer) and use as a motorcycle jacket... I LOVE this vest, it is a beast.

I just went to add this info to the product description, and it already says this:

Designed to be worn over a heavy jacket, so these do come larger than our normal sizing

Just picked up my sonny vests from the post office, HOT DAMN are the NICE!!! I am still unsure which direction to go as I have only had the opportunity to try them on over a tshirt but neither of them looks bad… guess Its a win win either way.
