Yup, they were pretty damn snug, but they're really starting to stretch and mold to my feet.

Same experience I had with my green ones- really tight for the first 5-6 times I wore them, then they broke in beautifully.  Now they fit great.  Weirdly, my blue ones (which are exactly the same size and last) were comfortable from the very beginning.

Glad you like them, they're cool boots.

The more I see of those the more I wish I'd jumped when I had the chance.  Love the textured rubber, love the taping, love the denim.  Love the hickory striped interior… Great shoes man.

I had a very strange feeling when. First saw them… Honestly wasn't sure if I loved em cause they were different or hated for the same reason  but the more I see them the more I really dig em... Well done sir

I think they would age really well.. Ie the brown cxl wearing and the odd scratch on the toe and the whiskey darkening with polish etc..

I'm with G; surprisingly liking them. I usually don't like cap toes or two tones, this is an exception to both.
