I've been looking forward to listening to the audiophile mix on my Sennies but was surprised how great it sounded on my old Paradigms and surrounds/sub.
What Shures do you have? I have the iPhone ones, I think 110m maybe, they're fantastic.

Hesitation Marks is a grower was not a fan 1st listen. Prob have listened 50+ times now and am addicted.

I've got the 215s. Had an old pair that lasted me quite a while so when they finally gave up the ghost I decided to stick with the same brand. I think they sound great. I like that they have replaceable wires - it's always the wires that have caused me trouble in the past.
-
Yeah; that's huge. Not sure my cables are replaceable, I think they are but not easily. What I do know is they are very robust. Sound great too, my favorite in-ears, though I haven't heard the upper range Shures
-
I tried the upper range Shures a few years ago. I found them too accurate - that is they didn't artificially bump up the low end, as opposed to cheaper, more commercially focused earphones.
-
Cool. I'll save the $400.
I use cans too, my closed ear ones are some ancient Sony MDR-V6 and I also have some Sennheiser HD 518 for my open ear cans.
-
I have a pair of Grado SR60's I love them.

Yeah, I use the same buds as Zwer. At the time of purchase, I tried the higher end ones which I actually liked less than the 2 series.

By far the coolest looking headphones are Grado IMO. Totally retro.
