Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
Just had an idea that I think is within Iron Heart's ethos and wheelhouse: a heavy corded commando sweater, a la: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/43324?page=commando-sweater-crewneck&subrnd=0
Black and olive would be great colors.
EDIT: and indigo! -
I had what I believe to be a nobrainer great idea:
How about a large Iron Heart Army patch that can be sewn on to the back of the denim vests like the sonny and its respective counterparts?? Old skool MC style. I would so be down with that, and would probably push me over the edge on purchasing a sonny vest
*technically i guess it would be three seperate patches (depending on how it is designed, Id be happy to sketch something up); but Iron heart at the top then the skull and pistons logo (or whatever possibly could use several different designs in the middle patch. And then at the bottom 21 oz army. could maybe even do a 21oz spoof on the old 1%er symbol, just dont make it to close to get any unwarranted hate from the true 1%er's

General request: on selvage cuff detail, I suggest putting that on the other end of the cuff, such that the detail is visible when the sleeve is rolled. For illustration, see how the end of the sleeve can peek out? Selvage would look cool there:
-
Currently the selvage is on the side of the interior cuff towards the elbow. My suggestion is effectively to flip that around to where the detail is still on the inside of the cuff, but on the end, at the opening, so that you can have it visible when rolling your sleeve using the master sleeve roll: http://touch.artofmanliness.com/artofmanliness/#!/entry/how-to-roll-up-your-shirt-sleeves,51524b3787443d6c8e4657ab

The inner tape would be rotated 180 degrees. I'll take a closer look to see if I'm missing something. This is just a wacky thought, I'm not terribly invested.

This was floated in the patch thread..

Yeah, something like that… Dunno if I would want the MC on there as that can carry repercussions if around the wrong people... Maybe "army" though

In NSW Australia MC club patches are not allowed to be worn in a lot of places due to shootings and violence. Especially Hells Angels which your version looks like. Not dissing, just truth saying is all.
The sky and the palm of the hand are the same..

Cool design! The winged hat wearing skull is cool all on its own.
Three piece patches are territory reserved for specific groups. I do not think it is a good idea to put one on unless you understand the ramifications and are prepared for all eventualities. Some individuals may not care to ask whether it is a fashion item or not. Tread lightly!
Get moving on that vest though!! I love mine.

Top Rocker = Club,
Bottom Rocker = Territory. -
Yeah I see your point, with the club guys I use to be around they put the emphasis on not putting MC on things or the 1% patch.. There are plenty of MA's around that are pretty much old folks weekend warriors that put something together to hang out on the weekend but are not involved in the life…. they rock three part patches and never had heard any of the guys mention that but it could certainly be different in different areas....furthermore, things maybe different now, I quit hanging around that stuff years ago..

Also my concern with that design… It may not be a great idea the more I think about it, as it seems it could beca headache trying to work around all the unwritten stipulations... Oh, well

I think it looks really cool, but I do not know… Frank Hanebuth (Hells Angels Leader Germany) is some kind of a local + here in Hannover do live many well known pals from him. I would feel very uncomfy when I would run around with the patches. But I once again thought about whether I should buy the vest or not, and I think I´ll do it in December
So badass!!!! Finally a piece of clothing for my IH-Patches. If someone wanna sell an Iron To The Bone patch, please PM me!

One thing that was big with graffiti dudes in the 80s was a hand painted patch or painted straight on the jacket. I loved them. But I guess you have to be into it. I'm one of the OG old school in my city.
This was one of mine in 85..

These without the screen print.. Go OG!
